My sister took Hailey in to be put down today. It’s tough being away from home, but probably still easier than being there to do it myself. I adopted her halfway through college and we spent seven good years together. She was a lover of dogs, tug of war, shedding, toilet water, running on funny things like sand or snow, and bed sharing on cold nights. She disliked exercise, bikes, and all but five people in the world. Motion sickness and sensitive guts did not keep her from the finer things in life, like riding in cars and eating chicken fat. She will be missed.
Scared little puppy,
we all have something to learn.
Find patience next life.
